Fleas - the health risks
Fleas - the health risks

Fleas can cause problems that mere scratching can’t solve.

Flea bites are responsible for the most common allergy found in dogs – flea allergy dermatitis.
Of course a flea bite is uncomfortable and dogs will scratch to seek relief, but this in turn can lead to skin infections.

If a dog ingests a flea while grooming, the flea can transmit tapeworms, one of the most frequent – and
unpleasant – internal parasites for domestic animals.

What’s more, a severe flea infestation can lead to anaemia, especially in puppies, sometimes in older dogs.

Fleas are dangerous to your dog – it needs regular protection.
